Volunteer Sew Day
Volunteer Sew Day
Join us for a fun and meaningful day of sewing, where we'll come together to create blankets for Project Linus, an organization dedicated to providing comfort and love to children in crisis. The blankets we make are more than just handmade items—they are a way for us to show kids they are cared for, offering them a hug through the warmth and comfort of a quilt or flannel receiving blanket.
Whether you're an experienced sewer or new to the craft, everyone is welcome! You can bring your own sewing supplies, or we’ll have scrap kits and donated fabric kits available for anyone who needs them. This is a wonderful opportunity to learn new skills, create something special, and make new friends while giving back to the community.
Details:
- Who Can Join: Open to all skill levels—whether you’re an experienced quilter or just starting out.
- What We’ll Make: Quilts and flannel receiving blankets for children in need.
- Supplies: Bring your own sewing supplies, or use one of our provided kits.
- Why It Matters: Your work will help bring comfort to children facing difficult circumstances, showing them they are loved and supported.
This is a great way to contribute to a meaningful cause while spending time with others in the community. We can’t wait to see you there!
